At Tas Woodwork Studio, we create by hand wishing wells for your wedding. Each wishing well is handmade from premium Tasmanian timber, combining high craftsmanship with an elegance that suits both modern and traditional weddings.
Our wedding wishing wells are more than a place for cards on your wedding day, its a lasting keepsake, thoughtfully designed to store A4 envelopes, wedding cards marriage certificate, vows, ring boxes and other treasured mementos from your special day.
Due to the wishing wells being hand made, we only take on a limited number of orders each month

How it started
When my now wife and I were starting our wedding planing journey we asked for some insparation from her cousin. She pulled out all her wedding keepsakes and memories that were in a flimsy clear plastic storage box. I decided on something a bit nicer for our own wedding keepsakes so I made the first wishing well for our own wedding. Since then I have made for lots of different people. Different wedding styles and decor. They all love the idea of something that they can keep everything from their wedding in. With the bonus that it was also there on the special day!
What happens after the wedding day?
Most wishing wells get packed away or are hired. Ours are designed to become part of your life, used to store your vows, cards, ring boxes, dried flowers and memories for years to come. We have made ours the place to keep our friends and familys wedding invitations. Ours now also hold the ultrasound images of our son. Its more than just a wishing well now, its a place for treasured memories.
